During her 35 years as an attorney, Ms. Olsen has represented individuals, large and small private businesses, public entities and non-profit agencies.
Ms. Olsen's practice focuses primarily on dispute resolution. She has the experience and ability to defend her clients against frivolous, time-consuming and expensive lawsuits, with her primary goal being successful resolution of the dispute.
While Ms. Olsen is resolution-oriented, when a lawsuit cannot be avoided, she will willingly and ably take a case before a judge or other adjudicator in order to defend her client's position.
She has represented clients in a variety of disputes including partnership issues, construction, real estate, common interest developments, business ventures and agreements, landlord/tenant matters and management-side labor and employment. Ms. Olsen is experienced in litigating these issues in court proceedings, as well as in administrative tribunals, and can represent you in a variety of legal issues.
In the public entity arena, she has gained experience in public bidding issues, meeting and conferring with union representatives, the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act and the Ralph M. Brown Act. She has also represented public employers before the Public Employment Relations Board.
